The fish-eating function is nearing completion! As we playtest it, our goal is to deliver the smoothest swimming simulation experience possible. As you navigate our open world, we aim to bring you the best fish simulator Roblox has ever seen. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
Open mouth
The current function allows you to open the fish’s gaping jaws, ready to chomp down on unsuspecting prey. We believe the jaws UI is a great addition, serving as an indicator for players to know when the jaws are ready to bite. For PC players, achieving this requires holding down the left mouse button before moving into range of the prey you want to consume
Consuming prey
When eating another animal, the previously white jaws turn red to indicate a successful chomp and consumption of prey. Bright text then displays how much XP you earned and the type of animal you consumed. Please note that we will likely make significant changes to these features as the game continues to develop and we refine its mechanics.
